Hi gang, first post very proberbly in the wrong forum too!!!!
I am looking for some information about a shell casing that I picked up at an antique shop about twelve years ago.
It is 220mm in diameter and has the words “polte” and “Magdeburge” stamped on the base. Also the date “Mai 1916”.
Having looked at the rest of the posts on the forum I guess this question might beyond the scope of the forum but I’m hopeing that some body might know of a forum that might be able to help me!!!!
