Virgin A330 at a UK drome near you TODAY!!

A bit late, but, in case anyone may have a chance to see it and did’nt already know… Virgin’s new A330 G-VSXY is doing a tour today of some dromes plan is as follows:
VIR831T planned ex LGW 1035, eta EMA 1114 etd 1145, eta GLA 1228 etd 1300, eta LPL 1352.
VIR832T planned ex LPL 1415 eta Manston 1502 etd 1535, eta NCL 1638 etd 1700 and back to LGW at 1757.
She left GLA at 1355 en route to LPL so add about an hour to the times for your nearest drome.
It is also due at least at GLA again on 24/25th March and may well visit the other places then too.
Hope some of you catch it. I have a post on the images subforum with pics
Cheers.

wouldn’t it be nest for Virgin to become a full airbus airline and ditch the 747s? ok some of the first A340s are 15 years old and due for change, personally i think the A340-600 will take over the 747 routes and the A330s the smaller A340 routes. i had thought the A330 was initially bought to reduce the fuel usage on the New York routes?

So no more Virgin 747’s at MAN ?

More like no more A340’s! I heard they haven’t been happy with them for a while now! Virgin already have a few in Storage in France not the Older ones which were some of the First A340’s to come off the A340 production Line but there Newer 600 Models.

Pictures of Her at NCL This afternoon!

Why was it approaching GLA from your dining room window? 😮

Did it do much damage? 😉

Why Manston? Do they plan on flying from there in the future?

Your welcome and good luck!! Think one will be based at LGW anyway starting LGW-Orlando (i think) on May 1st… this one will be daily out of MAN to Orlando from April 1st. very sweet looking A330 IMO.
