So… Shall we make a list of who’s up for LHR on the 18th? Assuming that’s when the Whalejet is actually going to arrive!
I’m up for it, looks like Mark L and Airline Owner are as well. Anyone else?
Paul
P.S. Mark, how are you getting down there?

there is more than one aircraft.
The certification and testing process needs more than one aircraft and, sadly, must take priority over photo-opportunities for employees and enthusiasts like you and I.

Combining the visit to Heathrow with a flypast over the Broughton and Filton sites allows the aircraft to be free over the weekend of the 10th of June to continue with the airframes most important work. A decision made not just based on sentiment.

380 is cancelled for families day, there will be flypasts on the 18th instead……….too much certification work to be done, apparantly…..
As a share holder I say good move.
Paul
As a person who helped make i work, I call it a bad move.

Hope it be in VA colours.

Confirm as a flying and static exhibit at Farnborough. Probably will be kept airside as a static display so I dont think many will get as close as A340 etc in previous years.
I’m looking forward to seeing it at Heathrow now I have booked time off from my busy schedule 😎

Can anyone confirm if it is going to be at Farnborough this year?
I am pretty sure it will be……hope so!

I’m inferring from this that the A380 is visiting Broughton on June 10th? If so, I know nothing is stopping me finding a vantage point and watching it visit, but is there going to be a public open day or viewing gallery arranged?
Ta!
Ralph.
And perhaps June 10th may also be the day Rolls Royce at Inchinnan near GLA may get a flypast too ?
