Visit to Museum of Military History of the Bundeswehr, Flugplatz Berlin-Gatow

This is an interesting place to visit. Pick a warm day as with all airfields it can be quite windswept. The internal displays are in renovated buildings and a number of aircraft are under restoration in closed buildings. However there are a large number outside.

Sun was getting a bit low in the sky.

What nerves to strap in to that! Same goes for the F100 version launched out of a barn. Incredible.

Do you have a few photos of the ZLL F-104G on its launch ramp?
Another attempt at using no runway( for the tko at least) for jets!

You are so correct.
The collection covers a very large area & lots of walking. More so than Duxford I think.
The collections inside are very nice. Those outside suffer the weather of course.
I liked the F-104G DB+127 with the rockets attached for “ZLL Zero Length Launch” displayed on its launch pad!
Thanks for the excellent photos.
