Visiting DeHavilland Memorial Stone

Evening all

I’ve never been to DeHavilland’s memorial stone although I’ve seen it signposted from the A34. How do you go about visiting it? Is it on public property or is it private land? Is car parking only in the layby on the A34 or is there anywhere better that anyone knows?
