visiting the UK in July

hello,
i’m planning to visit London in the mid July and i have some questions.

1. i thought Riat Air Tattoo is warth visiting but when i were looking in the aircraft list comparing the photos i saw from 2009 there much less aircafts, is it? no B-1, A10, apache etc.. is it true?

2. i want to make one day spotting in the aircraft departs/landing in heathrow airport, is there any recomanded place to spot? how do i know what runway the aircrafts langing? is it require car or posible buy underground/bus?
