Hello all.
A thought emerged recently as I was reading a huge biography of the Wright brothers. It mentions Gabriel Voisin quite a bit (what a character he seems to have been!) and I was reminded of seeing a Voisin at Old Warden maybe 15-20 years ago.
I seem to remember it was a 3/4 scale modern reproduction of a biplane pusher type, similar in basic layout to the Boxkite. At that point it appeared complete but I believe had yet to fly. I think the occasion I saw it was an evening air display that was cancelled due to heavy rain – the light levels in the hangars were so poor that if I did actually photograph it, it was probably too dark to keep. No photoshopping then!
No sign of it with a quick Google or searching this forum, so over to you chaps!
