Heard on news this morning that some high up executives from both airlines will be meeting today to possibly begin renegotiations of a possible merger.

I think this could be a wise move – obviously bmi and it’s domestic and European routes combined with Virgin and their long haul routes. Would be huge competition for the likes of BA etc.

Whatever happens, they need to bring VS into Star Alliance. That’s what I’m hoping for.
