Hi there, heard on the grapevine that WK198 is on her way from NEAM to Millom shortly…?!?!

Would be interested to hear how this pans out – having been involved with the Swift at NEAM I have a soft spot for her and would like to think that the Swift will end up somewhere decent.
Just wondered if anyone knows anything further about WK198 and the intentions of its owner and / or Dodd & Co. (liquidators) who are, apparently, moving in tomorrow (Friday 10th September)?

I have just heard a RUMOUR (is that clear enough) that the Brigand may be joining the rest of Mrs. Moran’s aircraft. It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds. For the new guardians, IF possible, please keep us updated as to what happens with that collection of airframes.
From what we are told they have 3 years left on their loan agreement, after that who knows what may happen.

Its a pity they are moving but at least they are going to another Aviation Museum not being scapped or put away in store.
This means a trip to both sides of the counrty is called for in the summer (when it arrives)
I also would like some photos!;)

Will the Firefly sections be staying at Neam????
apparently not. I’ve only heard rumours on the same grapevine as PP, but apparently its Mrs. M’s collection that will be leaving. Balliol cockpit, firefly sections and swift.
HMS Vulture, you know as well as I do that Mrs M thinks these pieces are worth far in excess of what they actually are. There are two hopes of a private individual aquiring them – Bob and No.:D The future recipients of these aircraft sections will have similar problems as NEAM in so far as no work will be allowed to take place. The Brigand is testamony to that.
Rumour control is rife up our end of the country….!
