No she is tucked up in the hangar at Lyneham – she won’t feel air beneath her her wings again until about April if they start the winter service in January as planned.
Why not start now?

Dumb question (maybe??) but on the basis that it is now just approx 3 weeks before Fairford and Farnborough, and they have only just put in the paperwork for the Permit, how on earth do tvoc think they’re going to be ready in time???

I find the finances of TVOC baffling. The Vulcan is supposed to generate income from attending air displays and the resultant fees from. In order for it to attend shows now it needs a benefactor as well as the fees! I think TVOC needs to look at it’s revenue earning capability and the wage bill in direct relation to income.

I hope this is true……..
At last it looks as if some thing positive is happening, if this is true congratulations to all involved.
Lets all now hope that an overdose of pen-pushers and hangers on don’t waste all the funds.
Fingers crossed for the big “V” back in the sky.
