Vulcan at Dunsfold

Mid afternoon today; a nice display in fine clear weather, at Dunsfold.

Next weekend is the ‘Dunsfold Wings and Wheels’ display, so perhaps this was a practice?

Dunsfold Wings and Wheels Video llink

Yes it sure did come and stole the show for me. I know “it does not do much” and we have “seen it all before” BUT it is the way “it does not do much” that gets me!

Anyway if you want to see it in action, I had time to make 3 quick Videos at this years event. They are the Videos 8, 9 and 10 on my ‘All Aviation’ playlist at www.andysvideo.com or a direct link is here The Vulcan is in both the 1st and the last of the three videos.

The Vulcan is certainly listed for appearing at both days (26-27th) of the Dunsfold Wings and Wheels show next week.

It was also seen by a number of gliders (at a similar height!) North of Newbury where it did a 360 degree orbit (timing?) before heading SSW, returning about 25 minutes later. Had me checking the NOTAMs for one we’d missed.

It was a display at a private event not open to the public.
