Vulcan Black Buck, Martin Withers DFC at Yorkshire Air Museum

77 Squadron Association is holding its annual reunion at the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington, York, 15th September. We are very excited, and privileged, that famed Vulcan pilot, Squadron Leader Martin Withers DFC will be our after-dinner speaker. Martin is now a trustee of the Yorkshire Air Museum and Allied Air Forces Memorial and a much-sought after speaker. He piloted Vulcan XM607 to the Falklands in 1982, the longest bombing raid in British history, an 8,000 mile,16 hour round-trip from the base on Ascension Island. The dinner is open to non-members of 77 Association and costs £40 for the full dinner, reception and wine.
