Well red and yellow & black generally indicate something explosive or a release of some kind:D

Quick question thats puzzled me for a good long while. Below and to the left of the no.1 engine throttle, what is the red spring loaded casing which covers a black rubber button. Asked ex-Vulcan air and groundcrew who say it must have been an inservice mod after their time.

What’s the red case with the spring loaded lid just below and to the left of the throttles? I’ve asked an ex Vulcan pilot and crew chief, both didn’t know what it was :confused:
