Denis – your thread was a direct response to questions asked about the amount of money required. Therefore it seems to most people to be a logical follow on in answer to some of the questions raised.
The hypothetical question of who will be flying the thing seems to me to be different in its nature to matters of fundraising.

I disagree my new thread was a direct plea for money, not a esoteric discussion on who was to fly ‘558…. thats a foregone conclusion….

Still think the two threads should have been kept seperate as mine was intended to try to answer some of the questions raised, instead it was buried in Pauls string???

Ah but my thread was how B**dly good Robert and David’s article was on the project. Shame its not repeated on the offical web site really. I still think a forun visit to see 558 and Denis would be a good idea.

I’m still up for forum visit to Bruntingthorpe any Sunday..but who’s going to organise it???

let me know will arrange hangar permits, but be aware I am away at Cosford, Waddington, RIAT & Wellesbourne…. after these I am pretty clear unless “she who must be obeyed” sticks her bloody oar in????
