Hi All,
Well, that probably got you looking – A Vulcan flying at Woodford, today. The Vulcan in question is a rather large 20ft wingspan model. Here are a few pictures from today’s flights.

Model waiting to fly, the old A V Roe Co. Ltd hangar in the background. That’s soon to be moved closer to where the 1:1 scale Vulcan has been moved to.
Told you it was big!

Feel the heat and power of this enormous model!

Very impressive indeed. Please though chaps, aeroplanes live in a hangar, your coat goes on a hanger.

Thanks guys. Certainly is an impressive model – you don’t realize just how big it is till you’re close up.
I quite liked this landing shot – I made the runway narrower, to give a better aircraft/tarmac ratio.

All that money spent on resurfacing the runway for the Nimrod project and the only aircraft to use it are models!

That’s a helluva model and all the better for being finished in the original anti-flash white. Do you know what the power source is?

Outstanding pictures & model, in a couple of the shots you’d think it was a the real deal.
Also liking the the anti-flash paint job 😎

That’s freakin’ cool! I particularly like the one with the 1:1 model.
