is this the way we should be treating our national heritage? Although it raises awareness of the aircraft, is this at the expense of degrading the Vulcan’s history?

Since I have buggered this up, how about most imaginitive April Fool aviation story?
My suggestion would be the item on ‘Nationwide’ where a WW1 veteran got to meet his nemesis from WW1 and they took up the Pup from shuttleworth and something else (possibly the Leisure Sport Dr1) and one of them got shot down.
I once suggested to *eroplane that they publish a astory about how the BBMF Mark V was going to be fitted with floats as a pair had been found that were thought to be watertight.
