Vulcan XH477

Hi Guys,

I am looking for more information on Vulcan XH477.

I have this in my database as being crashed in Scotland on the 12th of June 1963. I also have that it was with 44Sqn when it crashed but in The Vulcan Story by Tim Laming it has 477 as being with 44 Sqn then onto 50 Sqn when it crashed.

Can anyone confirm the true fate and sqn of 477. Also does anyone have the crew names etc.

Would love to see a photo of 477 if anyone has one.

Robert Jackson’s book on the Vulcan also says that XH477 was with 50 Sqn when it crashed while on a low-level sortie from Waddington on that date. All five crew were killed; no names in the book.
