..Well almost!
At around lunchtime today, the long awaited and much anticipated Virtual Warbird Art feature movie, Duel of Eagles will be available to download.
On and off it has taken about 6 months to complete due to the complexity of the work. Unable to capture in game sound (which is no great loss) i decided to create an entire soundtrack, from engine noise to gunfire and flak bursts from various sources and painstakingly crop, cut, filter, speed-up and sync them exactly into place.
Anyway… i shouldn’t ramble, the movie will be available to download in two formats. A 768K windows media format at around 40Mb for the standard broadband user and a High Quality DiVX .avi at around 135Mb for those of you with a faster connection.
So keep your eyes peeled guys and keep checking back around lunchtime to see if it’s online. Or go to Virtual Warbird Art itself and keep hitting that refresh button! 😉

I have an update. My website should be back online this week. The problem was bandwidth. Our friends at web-wings had bought what they thought was an unlimited account, but this has proven not to be the case. Unfortunately DUEL of EAGLES tipped it off balance and i have to remove all my videos from my server. I will therefore be in the future uploading all my videos exclusively at Netwings. I therefore ask you all to be patient please whilst i get everything sorted and transfered. I hope everything will be back to normal by the end of this week.

OH, btw T5 ignore your latest PM, somehow one of my folder permissions was wiped preventing anyone from viewing the contents. Strange. All sorted now.

Thanks! Yes, it was my inspiration. I was going to try and replicate it exactly but i swung towards the post D-day situation and generalised it more.

Well, it’s all systems go!
At the moment only the 40mb .wmv is available to download as i’m having trouble uploading the mammoth 135mb divx file. It’s pretty good quality though so enjoy!
Let me know what you guys think, this is my first proper movie.
