sadly i was at waddo by the time i got the message but thanks or replying anyway, i saw them on both ays.

Arrived friday and stayed long enough to see the Spit and Blenhiem arrive in formation. fantastic alhtough why they were in the static and not the flying display i do not understand.

In all i thought the airshow was quite dull apart form the fantastic F18 display, the army historic flight and the BBMF.

i watched from the A15 on Saturday and had a great day particularly for photo/videoing.

Sadly i went into the show on the Sunday, too much hassle. Too many people and numerous families from hell 🙂

Wasn’t the CL44 ‘guppy’ great……oh no wait..it wasnt there.

A big bird has told me the Lancaster will be at Waddo at 14.25 Sat & 14.34 Sun. I hope this is the info you require

Dhfan, I know what you mean but last year was the first time I’d been to Waddington since the shows started and I thought it was excellent.
It was superb value for money at £9 advance (£11 this year),a well balanced show (I can tolerate paraffin rockets for a day), easy traffic/parking, well facilitated and the big bonus I thought were the photographers ‘notches’ in the crowd line (and the sun shone!).
So based on that I’m going again, but just so I don’t get too used to F16’s and the like I’ll go to Legends as well.

Good pics.

The four Hunters pics are great but the pics after are exactly why we’re not going this year.
Only missed one since it first started, can’t remember why now, but it’s dawned on us that we don’t actually watch most of the displays.
Not interested in one F-16, let alone more, don’t like eggbeaters, blow up that flying coffee table, Harrier and Reds are OK but seen them so often don’t take much notice, always watch BBMF, would have quite liked to see the Phantom and Starfighter… that’s it.

Going to Leg-ends instead.

Had a very pleasant day watching the Press Day today, back for the arrivals tomorrow and the show proper on Saturday.
