Wagga Wagga wrecks update

I have been passed today further information which seem to indicates more precise details regarding the recovered P-43 Lancer and Mustang which has been reported by other who recovered them as found at Wagga Wagga NSW, Australia.

It seems some people have researched the remains already extensively and extracted significant information and passed it on.

Yes, Daniel, I have asked you before and will again – please dont do the ‘I know something that you dont thing’. Its very boring, and only serves to make you look the fool.

Also, as I recall, you already started one thread on the subject. One thread is enough – especially when there is as little substance to it as thee seems to be.

Thread closed.

ZRX61, Please do not judge the majority of Aussie on the words of one Daniel/Liberator/Migace/etc. The man is a fool and has proven that in many, many posts across a multitude of forums.

+1 There are a good many of us down under that actually get on with projects and research without the need for trumpeting about “secret business” and nothing other than info “passed on” , no pics, no evidence, nada… I totally understand ZRX61’s comment though, it’s silly attention seeking stuff like this that gives us all a bad name 😡

I have found the forum group to be above and beyond the call of duty a number of times when trying to work parts out that I have picked up or even questions on numbers, lists etc.. and yes, some parts go onto some auction site thingy but most I put up here are in my own collection in the hope of building something one day…

There will always be people like this original poster going for the “lookit me I’ve got hot news” angle but I come on here to read and LEARN as I am still what many of you would refer to as a newcomer / youngun, and what I have been able to learn so far has been invaluable, and gratefully appreciated…

Still, the bottom line is, if you see a post from this person, rather than open it and get razzed up by a non-event, simply don’t open the thread, saves you a bit of angst 🙂

Steady on ZRX61.
Please do not judge us all (Aussies) by the actions of a few. I likewise agree that this thread is ‘pointless’ from the point of view of historic aviation.
Let’s all enjoy those threads that are worthwile, and be greatful to those who post them. And ignore, with good grace, those that are not.

People wonder why anything posted by Aussies ends up being a laughable hoax….It’s their national pastime.

You have misjudged us, as Mark stated factually they might have had toast for breaky. He also said he can’t confirm said rumours, at this stage no press conference has been planned I understand.

I’m with the mob on this one. What was the point of making this thread other then to apparently say “I know something the rest of you don’t, but I’m not telling!’ ?

Another of these “I know more than you do ” threads which serves only to inflate the overblown ego of the original poster

Hate to sound cynical but this sounds like every other silly rumour that infests the found historic wrecks in Australia subject. Lots of claims, more “certain to exist” statements and then at the end of it ****** all. I really am convinced that some people have too much time on their hands – if they have found something then say so and post proof, if not take their imaginations to a good scriptwriter.

The point being if you have found something and have proof then good, but if it is just another silly claim where the caveat is that secrecy is needed to protect things blah blah blah then I for one do not believe it. Do these rumour mongers seriously think that there are hundreds of thousands of people just ready to descend like locusts and carry off what is usually (in the case of real finds) nothing but a few scraps of bent aluminium.

The wonder of the internet world is how quickly you can now reveal no information !

Daniel/Phil/Liberator seems to be the leader in this race 😉

It would be wonderful to have some actual news about this very exciting endeavour.

…There are strong rumours circulating that one of the people who recently researched the remains may have had toast for breakfast, but I’m unable to confirm that strong rumour at this point in time.

– Watch the News at 7 for more updates including an expected official statement on the matter.

In the mean time please dont speculate about what was on the toast as this might jeapodise future recoveries!
