Not exactly ideal weather conditions for photography this morning, but here are a few items of interest I captured while waiting for the Kenyan B737-800 on delivery through MAN.

And the object of the exercise…

Enjoy… 😀

Is it just a coincidence that FR’s brand new machines seem to spend a few weeks doing short trips (MAN, LBA, BRS etc) before moving on to other work?
Its probably just to ease them in before they begin their really hectic lives.:D
Nice shots as per usual Lance.:)
Any ideas if the Kenyan 737 would have had to of made another stop en-route to Kenya (if so, where?), I wouldnt have thought it would have been able to of flown all the way with just one stop, even if it was empty?

Saw the Kenyan on the remote the other morning and thought it had been diverted yet again on another delivey. Didin’t realise they had chosen MAN

Nice work Lance, and you caught FR’s latest machine. Is it just a coincidence that FR’s brand new machines seem to spend a few weeks doing short trips (MAN, LBA, BRS etc) before moving on to other work? It’s just the only times that I’ve ever flown on a machine less than 2 weeks old (4 times now) it’s been a MAN, LBA or BRS flight to/from DUB.

Very nice indeed, Lance! Did you by any chance get G-EMBI coming in? I was on board coming back from Frankfurt and we taxi’d right behind the Kenyan after landing. I’d rather have been outside taking photos than sat on a plane!

Have they finally realised that there is more than one airport in the UK to stage a delivery flight through and it doesn’t cost them through the nose to land there?
Its wonderful what a spot of good customer service during a diversion can do to alter people’s opinions isn’t it!

Very nice, Lance, like the very new Ryanair and even newer Kenyan! 🙂
