Walter Soplata

WIX is reporting the passing of Walter Soplata, perhaps the ultimate collector of historic aircraft and their associated paraphernalia.

His collection, even now, eclipses many museums, and it is to be hoped it will be passed to a new generation who understand how these treasure came to be saved.
