Well, I can’t promise you that, but something close…:
I have just edited a short video from Bergen Airshow ’05 involving
D.H. Vampire FB.6 LN-JET.
It’s all filmed with a minicam located in the cockpit.
I had to do a little fidling with the soundtrack as we did not do any soundrecording on this flight.. , so I had to use the sound from a flight made a few weeks earlier. So,if you think the sound is a bit out of sync,..it is..!
The display was a bit short and is flown with a low profile, but the video gives a view into what it is like to be in the cockpit of this classic jet.
Øyvind Ellingsen is the pilot.
The file is 30Mb, so I guess you shoud have some kind of broadband (or lots of time on your hand) to start the download.

Amazing to see the turbulnece on one of the low passes.
I just read in the Aeroplane Monthly about the Vamprire, and that they used the airbrakes for toiletpaper bombing. I was wondering if this is done at all anymorre at the odd airshow…
