A long read, but a real insight into what the people of that era had to put up with. Reading this story has also made me think about the people who had to write and send these type of telegrams and letters, as they rarely get any praise. yet they must have had to send thousands.

Many thanks for posting some interesting information. I liked the story of the British mother who was hidden on the PoW camp for 5 months and the Goodwill Tour of America by 35 Squadron after the war.
