Where does one find the CV’s when playing Warbirds 2004 offline? It’d be nice to be able to practice a little before going online.
Thanks,
Dan

I was MoggyC (No change there then) flew from about ’98 to 2000. I’m sure I remember your callsign, so you’ve almost certainly blown me out the skies more than once. Always flew Spitfire through the early sections then Ki64 near the end. Specialised in flak suppression, JU52 sneaking (almost invariably flying into the sea a few miles short through not paying attention), and teasing all the Me262 on ‘jet day’ by trailing my coat in a Spitfire IX then jinking out of the way just as they were descending from a great height near limiting mach, certain of another kill.
Happy days.
Never attended a meet though.

We flew Green most of the time..I’m sure we’ve crossed swords in the past !
My callsign was brucec, our CO for most of my time was RamJet. Did you ever attend any of the meets ?

I used to fly for the Red Arrows with Thrax as CO.
What colour did 249 fly for?

Hi Moggy.
I used to fly online regularly with 249Sqn, Duxford (later Tangmere) Wing. I reinstalled it recently, all I can say is oh boy how times have moved on !
Probably only worth bothering with for sentimental reasons.
I dabble with IL2 for combat sims but most of my time is spent on FS2004, I miss the combat side but prefer the realism of the Real Air Spit and the WOP P51.

Dan,
I’m sorry I can’t answer your question, but I used to play Warbirds years ago. It was tremendous fun. Having just installed a broadband connection at home I’m thinking of going back to it.
Have you (Or anybody else) played it online recently? How is it doing? Any info would be appreciated.
