Warbirds in flight sims

I understand that fs 2004 is mostly an airline simulator but I thought maybe a new massive photo thread for those of us that like to manualy handle our planes 😉

And here’s a few of British registered repaints. All are available from Avsim.

Hello all,

Well, I figured out what was wrong with my postings, as I have had to delete all the ones I’ve already uploaded so that I can show some more.

Here is a few screenshots of the recently released Alphasim T-6 package. Being somewhat fanatical about this aeroplane, I do have a few niggles about the look and flying characteristics of the recreation, but on the whole its the closest that we have at the moment to the real thing. (Believe 4 other developers are currently working away on other T-6 projects).

Best wishes,

Martin

Martin,

I cant help you with your attachment problems as I’ve never uploaded images to these forums but I’d be interested to know your opinion and see your shots of the Alpha T6

I cant seem to upload any screenshots. When I go to ‘manage attachments’ it states at the top of the box, that ‘sum of all attachments owned by T6Flyer is 25.91mb’.

This I dont understand and when I try to upload three small pictures, they are rejected as it is stated that I’m exceeding my quota.

Anyone else have the same problem.

Martin

Very nice. I’m currently flying the Alphasim T-6 package, so will try and take a few piccies over the next few days and report back. Quite a few British registered examples have already been repainted including G-BKRA, TEXN, BGPB, CTKL and AZKI.

Best wishes,

I know that any AI traffic can be a killer on the old frame rates and perhaps its just the same for all of us. I’m running FS2004 on an 2.8gig Sempron, with 1gig ram and a Radeon 7800GTO card. With traffic set at about 25%, I get frame rates of about 25 and slowing down to about 10-16 with a busy airfield.

I dont take out the panels, is it worth doing?

Most of my virtual skies are populated with Mr Ito’s creations and to originate the flightplans I use FSTraffic 2005.

Hope this helps.
