Holty,

I’m just down the road and the weather is looking good at the mo.. I might I have a cycle down.

Where did you go to get those images and can the general public get down there?

Cheers

1997-1999…avionics flight test development manager

Sorry, holty, I don’t – most of my time there was spent chained to a desk writing Pilot’s Notes!
Every now and again I would walk around with a clipboard admiring the Tornado prototypes, and Lightnings and Jaguars in for modification/rebuild.

Excellent pix by my standards, also nice to see the place where I worked so many years ago (on the Tornado that is now in the museum at Cosford, so I should be stuffed and put there too!)

Great pics. I was chuffed to be able to see DA2 up close last year, although it doesn’t look quite as nifty in terms of finish!

Some fantastic shots for someone using a new camera, Well done.

Just a shame there is no sound or ‘scratch and sniff’ feature!!, The smell of burnt Avtur alway gets me going. :p

What camera are you using?

Regards,

John.
