While the Spitfire mystery is still running, what about this one?
What is the aviation history connection with this building? What and where is it??

Ah! I had actually forgotten I used that photo. A serious flaw in my plan!

I have your book Baders last flight & sure that pic was in it but I haven’t looked at it in ages so really was guessing

I think you’ve been cheating, Black Knight!
I think the building has now been demolished. Kind of wish that I’d somehow got that window frame out and then built it into my office!! Looked to be pretty damned old. I looked for the rope made from bed sheets, but it was no longer in the room! I fondly imagined that the old wooden chair outside that room was where the German sentry had once sat.
Here is the front view. A good many RAF pilots were taken in through those big green doors. And Galland’s Horsch probably parked right where those two cars are – on more than one occasion!

The 1 with the 3 broken panes?

Black Knight wins.
Too easy.
But which window?

High walls? Amiens Prison?

OK.
France.
Not a famous person’s birthplace.
Eighteen questions to run!

Can we use the 20 questions format here? Is it someone famous’ birthplace?

Ditto what René says.
Looks like Belgium or Northern France, due to the type of tile used on the roof.

This looks like France or Belgium to me.

René
