… was there ever a proposed naval version of a production F-23 ???

During the ATF development phase there was a – for my opinion too short – parallel effort to develop not only an Air Force successor for the F-15 but also a naval successor for the F-14 of the winning ATF-design … called NATF !!

I remember a painting of the proposed naval-F-22 … with swing-wings !!!

Does anyone know if there ever was a plan for a naval-F-23 if this fighter would have won the ATF-contest ??? … maybe also with a swing-wing ???
