In the latest AIR Enthusiast issue (Sept./Okt. β02) there is a very interesting article regarding the proposed Dassault Super-Mirage family G8A (ACF) which led to the Mirage 4000 …
What I found interesting is a short passage regarding the cancellation of the ACF (Mirage G8A) on page 54:
βThe news was met with relief in most quarters of the French aerospace industry, ….. . The prototype is believed to have been near complete but a replacement, what became the Mirage 2000, was already well underway. β
Does anyone know if there really was a prototype and what happened to it ????!!!!
