University students are being urged to urinate in the shower in a bid to save water.
The Go with the Flow campaign is the brainchild of students Debs Torr and Chris Dobson, from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich.
They want the university’s 15,000 students to take their first wee of the day while having their morning shower.
Mr Dobson, 20, said the idea could “save enough water to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool 26 times”.
Ah, Norwich. That explains so much…
There used to be a bath with a friend campaign – combining that one with this one might be a little…antisocial? You’d find out who your real friends were, anyway, as long as you weren’t part of the rugby club!

That’s just a gag to get your friends to pee on their own feet…
Ok, how do you feel about them peeing on your feet…?;o) (That is probably a four or five figure sum for some rich perverts in the city!)

Instead, they should:
– Use rainwater reclamation for the toilets and for gardening as much as possible.
– fit lever water valves to WCs instead of cisterns, so only using exactly how much water is needed, not in 6ltr or 3ltr increments (on dual flush WCs)
– meter water usage per dormitory and charge accordingly. When it hits the students in their pockets, they’ll soon learn to change.

According to my late Mother in Law if you pee on your feet it will cure athletes foot.
Any members with that complaint willing to give it a go?

‘Having their morning shower’? If students take a shower every morning just so they can have a pee…
…water consumption is going to go up, not down!
