I’m hoping some folks have got a better filing system than me (not difficult….)
One of the UK classic aviation mags a goodly number of years ago featured a spread of cartoons dating from WW2. They concerned the trials and tribulations of being a wireless operator. I can clearly remember the character in question on his hands and knees in the mess, having disassembled the radiogram in an effort to repair it. With valves, screws and bits everywhere, his look of utter confusion was classic. Adding to this was the rest of the mess inhabitants glaring at him, including the cat!
Can anyone help me with this? Magazine, issue, number, year?

I have a copy here of Prune’s Progress the Geneological tree of Pilot Officer Pery Prune by Anthony Armstrong and pictured by RAFF. Not too sure when it was published but must be just pre-WW2.
This is in the same vein. Perhaps the same author?
