We like Russians better than Western?

I fail to understand that why India is always buying fighters from Russia(except, Jaguar, Mirages and the Hawks on order). Ok that India has good relations with Russia and they cannot buy fighters from USA because of the sanctions, but UK is there, the Saab Gripen is a healthy contender. They could have eyed, the Eurofighter, they had a look at the Rafale also. But for there main fighters, its Russia all the way. The Indian back bone, Mig 21 will have to be replaced soon as most of them are grounded and which fly are crashing at a mind bogling rate. What do u think, when they replace the Mig 21, what is it gonna be replaced with. Another Russian jet? Can the Panvia Tornado be a replacement for the Mig 21?? During the Aero India show 2001, all the planes gave a spectacular performance, but the SU 30 on the final day failed to show because of a technical snag. But the Tornado was the jet which stole the show.
