I still don’t know why I photographed the Ecoflyer at Oshkosh ~ I think I just felt sorry for it being parked next to the Mustang Coral.
There’s some strange stuff out there. Last year at Camarillo airshow we were stood next to one of Rutans Boomerangs which has forward swept wings discussing probable flight problems. Mostly bought about by it’s boomerang shaped wings meaning that it couldn’t fly cross-country (or even cross-county) & was limited to flying endless left hand circuits & ALWAYS landing back exactly where it had just taken off from. The humour seemed to be lost on the operator for some reason…:diablo:

That was actually taken at East Kirkby ~ I can confirm they don’t except old money or ration book stamps 🙂
The Chevy Suburban was a rental SUV. Everything’s bigger in Texas !
With the aircon running ~ it was just about managing 14 mpg

P-51D Mustang “Ole Red Nose” happened to pop up alongside the B-25H “Barbie III” during a warbird ride in 2010
