It seems that only Iran air and freighters are paying attention to it now , but I like this plane.

I’ve only flown on it twice, ZRH-LHR-ZRH, in 91 or 92, I think…
This is the a/c I came back from London on, I remember it because it’s names after the Kanton I lived in at the time.

What about this lovely one, flying to Basel from Mombasa, Kenya, regularly?
On the subject of the A.310, I remember it as a pleasant aircraft when a passenger. I heard from the cabin crew, though, that they hated the aircraft because during cruise the aircraft was never exactly level, and the had to push the heavy trolleys uphill through the cabin!

It is a nice plane, but as A330Craazy says, the 330 is better!
Cyprus Airways is nother who has a few, see them reguarly at MAN.

The Air Jamaica from what I can gather is just a one off. Looking on Airliners.net a few moments ago I noticed the other aircraft in the fleet: A320s and A340 have light grey engines. I’m not too keen on the flag on the engine myself, like you say, it looks cluttered.

That last Air India photo is great.
Why does Air Jamaica place the flag on the engine. I find their design a bit too busy. Was the enging thing a temporary motif?

I dont like the A310 much. Air India also operates a healthy fleet of A310s.

Air Jamaica operates the A310. It used to fly the London route which was replaced by the more recent A340. It is now operated on routes a bit closer to home – The United States.
I love this colour scheme..!

Yeah, I agree, lovely aircraft, Air transat still operate them into LGW, Ive also seen one at AMS recently also Air Transat, Lufthansa also operate them, and as you say Iranair(I think they are exTurkish)
