Daz & SP I sympathise – I met people like that. Management should step in and act accordingly but no doubt they won’t as is the norm in such cases.
She (the waitress) is not sick it is self inflicted and should thereffore be taken as leave. I’ve seen someone been forced to do that – change sick to leave… They soon stopped it.

I don’t blame you………..there is this 15 year old waitress in the hotel that I work in who has a habbit of leaving work early (and leaving us to do the clearing up) to go out (to pubs and bars) and I get asked to cover her the morning after when she mysteriously phones in sick…………… :rolleyes: 😡 😡 😡

My (thankfully) ex-line manager. She calls me to get me to cover for our receptionist who’s going to be late in, despite the fact that there are two fully-functional, perfectly capable asshats under her who can do the job!!
