I’m looking to set up a new Spitfire replicas website, as the one I currently have (a freebie) is getting rather crowded, and the creativity is somewhat constrained by the templates being used.
Can anyone (particuarly those with their own site) recommend a good website host which is not horrendously expensive??
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that, I’ll give it a shot.
Dreamweaver is what we use at work to put things such as circular letters up on the web – all kinds of fun and games can happen with those to make your web editing life hell!!

Dreamweaver is good if you know how to use it proplrly with flash etc. If you’re looking for an easy effective build try using Front Page. It’s not the best but its satisfactory. I used it to make my site because it was a quick easy build. Fiddling around withit for a while helps alot for learning what things do. A good photo editing kit like photoshop is also handy. Jave you decided what host you are going to use yet. Remember not all hosts will be compatible with Front Page make shure you check it out first. www.34sp.com apparently is pretty good. Have a look at that.

Ummm, not sure. I have used Dreamweaver at work, but I’m none too keen on it!

My proposed site, or the one that I’ve got now?

What software are you suing to create the site?

Have you tried using FTP?

Wanadoo allows you to host stuff, but for some inexplicable reason I can’t seem to get it to do anything. I had previously built a small site on it before, but it’s telling me that only Wanadoo users can do this! Strange….!

Ahhh, see that’s pretty much what I’m looking for to host my ever-growing Spitfire replica site. I’m currently with Wanadoo, but not sure whether they host sites or not – I imagine they do, but can’t remember ever seeing anything for it.

Does that allow you to chop and change your website at your own accord then?
