Hi all.
Had a job down to Heathrow last night, but, weather at 8am was shocking!! not taking the chance of getting my new toy wet!! so back on the motorway and for a change there was a reversal of weather situation at the border.. chucking it down all the way to Gretna, then sun all the way home ๐
A chance to get some shots of the Yak 42 in better light and a bonus of an Orenair 737. (another airline i’ve never heard of) and shockingly the handlers at GLA NEVER put all manner of clutter around either aircraft!!!

That’ll be that then!

Great shots. Good to see that the Russian links with Glasgow still alive and well. When I was employed with a Scottish carrier Air Ecosse at Aberdeen in a previous life, I often used to get down to GLA on hearing news of a visiting Aeroflot Tu134 or Interflug and Tarom IL18s. Thanx for those Yak images.

Good to see ye are back shooting again laddie. By the way, I did a google search for Vladimir Shemelov (the bloke who has a menshy on front of the Orenair) and it seems he is some retired Russian athlete.
