Ugh, that’s nasty looking.
As for the engines, being that modern engines are high-bypass types most of any ingested foreign material wouldn’t make it into the actual turbine. Actually since grasshoppers are soft they would be pulverized by the fan. The remaining bug bits wouldn’t pose much of a problem for the engine.

What height are these things flying upto (not the airbus). Would they not pose a problem with the engines, especially on take off when they are running the engines close to full power.
How big are the Locusts?

Terrible sight. As well as those who are living over there, I just cannot imagine the disappointment of those on their annual holidays.
I’d probably rather stay at home and lose the holiday money rather than spend a few weeks in those conditions.

If you want to know whether you can swear or not (Not that you should anyway), just check the guidelines at the top of the page which you should have checked anyway. I agree, you should be more polite to the members, we are only trying to help you.
God – Flamethrowers! That would be very interesting to see, ah well as long as they get rid of them.
ACE Lanzarote would only know swearing in the Text spelling form anyway. :diablo:
BTW, See you Saturday LBA???? Come on Walsall :diablo: :diablo: :diablo:

Believe they have come across from Mauritania after devastating this years crop causing a rather nasty famine. I don’t think they are causing too much trouble over in Arrecife as they are tired from the journey from North Africa. They are being exterminated by flamethrrowers which must be interesting to see!
