Well done BAA Airports!

Latest figures just released for May, EDI’s excellent growth continues and well done to STN, by BAA:

Later today, Stansted will celebrate passing the 20 million passenger a year milestone.

All the figures can be found here:

EDI is third only to STN and SOU in the BAA airport yearly growth stakes. 😎

I think he means growth wise. EDI has been growing faster than GLA for the past 70 months?

EDI has been BAA Scotland’s top perfomer for 70 consecutive months.

A mere 500,500 pax separate it from year-round busiest
Scottish airport status… 🙂 🙂

I’m confused. If it is top performer surely it must have the most passengers?

I don’t like BAA either, totally against spotters at Heathrow! Come on man! One of the best places to spot! They could build a good area, charge a small fee to get in, and bobs u’r uncle, u get a nice profit out of it.

I tell you what raises a laugh, is when the security announcements interrupt an airline employee making a boarding announcement etc. It sometimes can happen more than once in the same announcement 😀

EDi is great, the thing that i think of when someone saysEdinburgh, is a man with a deep voice saying, “baggage must not be left unattended at any time.”

I dont like BAA airports really.
EDI is great though and is an exception!
LGW is OK but LHR is hell – especially T2.

I don’t like BAA – no surpises there! BAA boasted about LGW’s 2.9% growth but totally ignored EDI’s 3.8% growth
in their blurb… 🙁

LHR isn’t good. T2 has a very low roof and T1 is overcrowded. Personally, I hate LGW South’s arrival hall – it’s one of the most depressing places on earth and must be a real letdown to people arriving in the UK for the first time.
