Were has all my FS2002 air traffic gone to…?

Evening all. I’ve just noticed that all my air traffic has vanished. The skies are empty as are all airports. The traffic slider is set to 100p/cent. A friend tells me he noticed it last week but forgot to ask. I’ve not fiddled with any settings or folders & all I have done recently is downloaded some Abacus stuff.

Short of reinstalling FS2002 & starting again (I do not really want to do this) I wonder if anyone else has had a like problem &/or knows what I should do to get my traffic back?
