As I was driving past an industrial estate near to where I live I saw what looked like a helicopter rotor head sticking up, on closer inspection it is a rusted out and well stripped old Wessex (I think)
I spoke to a guy who was at the compound who let me take a few pics of it, he said that as far as he knows it is owned by a guy from down South who comes up now and then if he needs a part from it.
Just wondered if anyone else knows anything about the machines history?
It is located in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Chris -its a Whirlwind HAR.10 ! Not quite sure which one it is as they are fairly nomadic!
