In Control Column vol 18 # 3 “1984”, a mention is made of the remains of a Gamecock having been found on a farm in the home counties, & going to somewhere in the West country.
In vol 18 # 4 “1984”, it mentions it being found in the London area, & going to Wales.
Was this the remains of G-ADIN, or another, here too unknown survivor ?.
If it was not G-ADIN, then which one is it, & exactly where is it now ?.

The prop is an original Jupiter prop.

Perhaps Jet Age Museum at Staverton have acquired the parts and incorporating them in their Gamecock replica?
Im not sure where the Jet Age museum’s parts came from initially, but there are only about 4/5 original parts on the airframe. Other than that, the rest of the airframe was built by museum volunteers, many ex-GAC. Off the top of my head, only the engine and 2/3 struts are original.

Newforest -I wasn’t aware G-ADIN was on rebuild -its certainly been at the parts acquisition stage for a good while but I don’t think any wood has been cut!

If it was found in the London area, & then went West, then it cannot be G-ADIN. Nor can it be either of the 2 Gamecock fuselages that Retro Track & Air supposedly have.
If indeed it did/does exist, then it would have to be another one.
Could it possibly have been the spare fuselage etc that Mr Tompkins acquired along with G-ADIN ?.

Don’t think it would have been (or is???) G-ADIN. That Gamecock (or parts thereof) has, I believe, always been in the area of Northamptonshire.
