Westland Sioux AH1 XT114 07 July 1972

I understand this AAC aircraft crashed on the Otterburn ranges. there were no casualties

Can anyone provide any further details.

Pilot, Area etc.

Ladies & gents,

After some long hard searching, I managed to find an article in a newspaper from 08/July/1972,
It would appear that this AAC Sioux crashed on an un-named farm nr. Langholm, Dumfrieshire & not Otterburn.
663 Sqn AAC
2nd Lt Paul Hannant

Hi Chris, unfortunatly you are mistaken, ive never been to an excavation

possibly someone with the same name?
