HI guys.just thought some of you maybe interested in a scratch built wessex, this is the only known one of its kind on the planet.(i think) here are some pics. this old girl flies just so smooth, feel free to ask any questions cheers Gavin..:)

Unless I’m seriously mistaken, the H-34 should have the same fuselage.
I can’t see why Westland would change it from the parent design.
BTW: With yet another nose, you could make a S-58T “Twin Pack” conversion. They are still flying as civil heavy lift machines and perhaps with some air arms.
In other words, there are plenty of available colour schemes for the basic airframe.

I love scale RC helicopters.
Looks like you could rework it a bit to make other Marks and with a new nose, perhaps a H-34.

What a beaut! All your own work from scratch? Were plans easily accessible?
HI sky high. yes built it from scratch,Well as for the drawings, not easy to come across! the ones i have are from the plus 4 book on the wessex but not dead cert. on how accurate these are, but built it to these drawings. May post a thread in the history thread to see if anything turns up. here are some more pics. cheers Gav
