Hi everyone , have a new game to play , its called ‘what a/c is this part from’ hope someone has an idea , because i dont!
Looks to be maybe part of a control column , part num. BS 4455 ISS 2A.

True that weird things turn up.We found a couple of Aircraft parts in the big September cleanup with big stars and cryllic on them.
How they got into an Australian Army Aviation
Museum beats me..I would go with Beau/fighter/fort bomber.

Dont forget this item is located downunder. Doesn’t rule out German origin i know, but the part number BS 4455 ISS 2A might do ?

Looks like the handle of the emergeny hydraulic pump fited to Beaufighters to me. B S stands for Bristol Standard on Bristol aircraft parts

the number seems to remind me of DAP Beaufort numbers despite not having the 152 prefix?
