Flying is amazing,
for the first time I was allowed away from the circuit on my own. I flew from sywell, to overhead a disused airfield, then onto kettering, round wellingbrough and then back to pitsford for my rejoin.
It went very well, with a great little landing, even though they changed the runway from 25 to 21 on me! Not a problem though.
I cant wait to get stuck into my nav ex’s. Flying off to scotland next week, for a northants school fly out.
Hope everyone else is getting as much out of flying as i am!

hey that’s great! I’m not as far as you yet but I’m just about to start my circuits so i don’t really know what i’m getting myself into but so far i really like the flying. Have a good time in Scotland

Yes. Fun isn’t it? You sort of get to feel like a grown-up when you can get out of sight of the field on your own.
