Hi all,
can someone help me? I’m looking for the real plane of the model in the photo. Above is a 109, but what the hell right there below?
:confused::confused::confused:
Who has an idea?
many greetings
Mo

I suspect it’s something that requires a bit more research than just the odd lazy bit of Googling. Nationality and manufacturer would obviously help, then a case of trawling through whatever archives remain regarding ‘paper’ projects for each manufacturer.
It’s equally possible that it’s just a concept with no model number, but there are enough special features on the model to make it look a bit more than just an item of whimsy.
Sadly I don’t have a clue where you’d start to look. But I’m pretty sure your answer doesn’t lie with Google.

Does Arado Ar 96 help?
Nope. Enclosed cockpit & wrong tail surfaces.

I agree with Malcolm, It’s supposed to to be the Supermarine 224. But other contenders could be the BV 137 or Arado 80, but it’s really a figment of the imagination.

Looks to me like a rather artistic version of this –

Hi all,
imagination, maybe but I still have two more found. Look at this. The same features, specially the front with motor. So many similarities without original?

(edit: For the avoidance of confusion, perhaps I should own up that I did a bit of photoshopping…)

Hi All,
The horizontal and vertical tail section look very De-Havilland-esc but I could find no match, the wings look like high altitude wings the shape is familiar to a record holder but I just cannot think of or find any on Google putting in all sorts of combinations.

My guess is that its just a general representation of a low wing monoplane with an open cockpit and not a specific type.

Hi Soggy, yes it does. Whilst you are working, this retired old f*rt just dug out his Putnam Miles book. Nope, the tail plane shape is wrong ,the Speed 6 being basically rectangular. Same with the Sparrow Hawk, although the fin shape is not far off in both cases. The b*gger is that very complex centre section ( WHY?)
This is interesting!!!

It has something of a Miles about it – a Speed 6 perhaps?

I want to say, ‘a species of klemm’, possibly a kl35, but I have to admit my civil light aircraft recognition skills ain’t brilliant and the model appears to have only one cockpit. Any advance?

Looks Heinkel-ish…
