Not exactly the HMS Warrior, is it?
Indeed not, I was on that ship last week. Apart from the fact that Prince Charles served on this boat, does it have any
other historic value ? It would only ever be on static display, and who would go to see her ?

“Corked”. Doh! Caulked!
Very sad. The fiasco of the Warship Preservation Trust closing down because its site was wanted for a car park ended up in the scrapping of HMS Plymouth & HMS Onyx, U-534 being cut into sections (but at least they’re now on display, apparently well-maintained, & people can see the interiors – The U-Boat Story) & the sad state of HMS Bronington. At least LCT 7074 has been saved.

A shocking state of affairs. I would suggest that someone should contact Paul McCartney and see if he is willing to help. I believe it’s the sort of thing he might support.
