What Aircraft have you flown in?

You can thank PAV78 for this question with his recent question about the age of the members here.

It got my curiosity up, just what type of Aircraft have people on this board flown in, either as a joy rider (and the term is used VERY loosley) or actually piloting the plane it self. Sorry simulators don’t count, nor do dreams, I’m talking actual hands on stuff here.

As for me I can break it down two ways:

Piloting- Vampire Trainer (ex RAAF A37-636)
C-130A (again ex RAAF, number unknown,restoration project based at RAAF Richmond)
Spitfire Mk Vb (Yes Ex RAAF, hey it’s where I live, formerly owned by Col Pay but was written off after an accident in 99)
PAC CT-4B (ex RAAF 045, My cousin and I bought it at the auctions when the RAAF sold them off. He now owns it compleatley)

Joy Riding- Mirage IIIDO (RAAF 77Sqdn A3-103?)
C-130E and H (Both RAAF 37Sqdn and 36Sqdn respectivly)
DHC-4 (RAAF 38Sqdn)
Mig-15UTI ( the same cousin owns one, an ex Polish Air Force one I think it’s actually a Lim-4).

So I’d like to see the resumes of the other members. It would make this a little less tence during discussions. I hope that there’s an ex FAA pilot who could talk about the Buc 🙂
